Synopsis on the CICC The Cairo International Conference Center (CICC) is a state of art conference facility which has been the venue of many renowned international gatherings including the International Conference on Population and Development (1994), The African European Summit (2000) and two previous ITU TELECOM AFRICA Events (1994, 2004). It stretches over 30 hectares. Of these , 58,000 sq.m. have been given over to conference facilities. The CICC has a total of 15,000 sq.m. for exhibition space with a load floor which varies from 500 kg/sq.m. to 1,000 kg/sq.m. It has parking space available for 1,200 cars .The Exhibition Complex of the CICC has a main exhibition area of 7630 square meters in addition to a 6000 square meter annex. The total indoor and outdoor exhibition area stands at about 18000 square meters. The indoor exhibition space is distributed among a lower level and a mezzanine level plus a spacious main entrance hall. The ceiling heights of the Main Hall are especially suitable for multiple story booths withstanding floor loads of up to 1000 kg per square meter. The CICC’s meeting facilities consist of several Halls and Conference rooms that enjoy the latest conference technologies.
